On Tuesday, we took “Can you take a look?” and turned it into a Review Check.
Instead of “Looks good,” the reviewer says what works, what needs to change, and why.
That’s a better review.
But there’s another problem.

The writer works through the list. They fix the headline, shorten the opening, and polish the wording.
The draft comes back looking cleaner.
But the missing number is still missing. The deadline is still unclear. The client requirement is still unmet.
The feedback was specific. The problem was that every comment looked equally important.

A list of comments is not the same as a list of priorities.
When feedback arrives without a clear order, people often start with the easiest changes.
Those changes are visible, quick, and satisfying to finish.
The important change might take longer. It might need a decision, another source, or a question to someone else.
So it gets delayed or missed.

That gives the writer something to work with.
What it doesn’t do is show which comments matter most.

Decide the level from the original request and the likely consequences, not from how strongly AI words the suggestion.
USE AI TO RANK THE COMMENTS
🔴🟡🟢 COPY THIS INTO CHATGPT OR YOUR AI TOOL:
Act as my feedback reviewer.
Sort each comment in the review feedback below into one of three categories:
MUST FIX: The work cannot be approved until this is resolved or escalated for a decision.
SHOULD FIX: This would improve the work but does not block approval.
YOUR CALL: This is optional or a matter of preference.
For each comment, explain the reason for its category. Base the ranking on the original request and the likely consequences, not on writing style alone.
Rules:
Do not remove comments just because they are difficult to resolve.
Do not let confident wording decide the priority.
If you cannot determine the priority without more information, mark it [NEEDS CONFIRMATION] and state what needs to be confirmed.
Keep the review concise.

Review the categories yourself.

THEN CHECK THE FIX
Send the ranked feedback.
Ask the writer to mark each comment:
Fixed
Not fixed
Disagree – with a reason
Before you approve the revision, check every MUST FIX item yourself. A writer saying “done” is not proof that it was resolved.

Working alone? Ask AI to play the writer.
Have it mark each comment Fixed, Not fixed, or Disagree, then check the must-fix items against the revised draft yourself.
